Homeopathy for pregnancy and birth and the postnatal phase, one day workshop which includes training manual, homeopathy remedy kit for pregnancy and birth , certificate of attendance and light refreshments.
This one day course is aimed at those with no prior background in Homeopathy.
As a mother of four children who has experienced four different births, all in ways which I did not want or choose, I strongly believe that, upon reflection, my experiences could have been seriously improved if Homeopathy had been involved. The problem is that many people have not experienced and do not know about the benefits of Homeopathy and how it can bring great alleviation and comfort and even empowerment to our lives, especially in the most important and sacred phases of life, such as growing our children inside our bodies, bringing our children in to the world, and the precious days soon after new life has emerged. These experiences should be magical and unique but are often dominated by the belief of disempowerment over our own bodies.
This is why I created this short course, with the sincere intention to inform and empower expectant mothers to take more control of their own journey, instead of leaving it in the hands of strangers who do not have a personal investment in their health and wellbeing, but rather a general interest in efficient clinical management, which definitely in my experience does not do justice to the sacredness of pregnancy, birth, and the first precious days of a new life.

What will be covered?
- An introduction to Homeopathy.
- Multiple issues and side effects that are commonly associated with pregnancy and some of the best indicated Homeopathic remedies which may be used to support and improve symptoms.
- Remedies for supporting birth and labour with the intention of minimising the need for intervention.
- Remedies to support common postnatal issues and breastfeeding. All participants will receive a hard copy of an manual which can be revisited and referred to at any time.
This course may also be a great resource for those who work as Birth Doulas and Independent Midwives, in order to better inform their clients and patients about Homeopathy as a potential option.
Birth partners and expectant fathers may also greatly benefit from this informative workshop in order to prepare for birth and support the expectant mother.
Courses will be held in person at both York city centre and will not host more than 10 participants at any time. A birth remedy kit is included in the price which contains 18 remedies. Course materials and light refreshments are also included. You will also receive a certificate of attendance; the total cost per person is £185*.
